The song is full of quirky metaphors, primarily Rich the Kid’s line, “We in the game like Madden”. Rich once again provides the hook for the track as well as an incredibly groovy verse smoothly flowing into Future’s verse. “No Question” is built around a deep bass beat laced with high-hats. The first feature of the album introduces the collaboration project of Rich the Kid and fellow trap artist, Future. The album is loaded with features including Chris Brown, Khalid, and Lil Wayne. The song is one of the few solo Rich the Kid tracks off the album, and easily one of the best. The track, already certified gold, is accompanied by a video showing Rich the Kid trapping out a Breaking Bad-style RV with an alien buddy. The track is all about the artist’s “Plug”, brought to life by a slower tempo beat produced by TheLabCook. The second released single for the album, “Plug Walk”, released in early February continues to shine as one of the best tracks off the whole album. Since its release, the track has become certified platinum, a first for Rich the Kid. Kendrick drops another jaw-dropping verse, which went on to inspire the lyrics for his song with Travis Scott, “Big Shot”. Rich lays down the hook for the track and adds a verse boosting the overall energy of the song. The song combines the traditional trap skills of Rich with the elegant flowing verse of Kendrick.
The hype around the album began last September when Rich the Kid teamed up with rap mogul Kendrick Lamar for “New Freezer”.
